Join this FAQ Webinar to find out more about the Native Affordable Housing Design Leadership Institute:
Enterprise’s Rural and Native American Program is excited to announce a Call for Applications for the Native Affordable Housing Design Leadership Institute. The workshop series will be based on Enterprise’s national Affordable Housing Design Leadership Institute (AHDLI), which brings together the nation’s leading designers and affordable housing developers to collaborate on the creation of well-designed affordable homes and green, healthy, and resilient communities.
Five (5) organizations will be selected to participate in the Native Affordable Housing Design Leadership Institute and receive direct technical assistance to increase capacity on multifamily development. The curriculum consists of six on-line sessions beginning September 15th-November 3rd that address key design and affordable housing issues and explore real-life case studies with developers and a team of leading designers and other diverse experts. Through charrettes and interactive workshops, participants exchange feedback on real multifamily development projects in the participating developers pipelines, working through specific challenges related to design, construction, policy and finance. Participants will be introduced to culturally appropriate design processes, best practices and/or concepts to partners so that they can apply them to their projects.
Enterprise is inviting organizations serving Native American communities with a defined mission that includes affordable housing.
